This album just didn't do anything for me to be honest. I was stoked to hear it when it came out, and then I listened to it like twice and completely forgot about it. Nothing stood out to me.

I know the Mission to Mars line is goofy but it just shows how inept the character in the story is. It's not just Mustaine saying he wants to be an astronaut. That's what I thought it was too.

I can't wait till the next album! James LoMenzo has been vocal coaching him.

The bleeding is essential because it opened up the genre and made this very underground style to more people to invest into it. It seems like it has a mix of all their previous work, plus some new stuff. It's great! I do prefer Spiritual Instinct and Kodama, but this album did not disappoint and will likely be my album of the year.

Am I the only one who doesn't really enjoy it when bands go softer, mellower and more accessible with each subsequent album? I can't for the life of me understand why these traits are automatically associated with terms such as "growth", "maturity", and "progression", when there's plenty of examples of bands that, over time, changed their sound drastically in the completely opposite direction, and I'd argue that they grew, matured, and progressed as a result. Gorguts and Blut Aus Nord come to mind.

You need to review the debut album from Hellish Torment that came out on April 26th. And from what you played by that band Dvne, that sounded like some alternative rock... But hey other people asked for that to be reviewed and not me.

Les Chants De L’Aurore is very similar in sound to Écailles de lune, which is by far my favourite Alcest album, so I am absolutely stoked by it. Loved every track. This is definitely going to be my second favourite album of theirs after a few more listens.

'Glam' metal is such a weird & dumb term. Loud guitars, pounding drums, aggressive vocals. HARD rock & roll! Van Halen started the American 'scene', everything after that embellished their sound & look. G' n R' set a new standard for 'look'. The question, "can you be glam metal without 'looking' glam" just seems like a silly question to me. I think this whole genre gets over analyzed to death!

This interviewer is the WORST! 🤬😤 Why the hell keep talking about other bands-especially terrible ones like Limp Bizkit-when you're interviewing the singer of Deftones? I didn't click on an interview with Chino Moreno to hear about other bands. And why can't people just let Deftones be unique instead of trying to force them into stupid genres?

Fans of the band will enjoy, but this album won't win over any new fans. I personally wish Neige used his epic harsh vocals more on this, as well.

Prefer their latest "Spiritual instincts" better, the new one would be a grower I guess.

This is my number 1 album of the year. I don't think anything will surpass this record. I understand this is different from their other material, but it does not mean that it is any less genius. Not only is it my top record of the year, but it may make my all time top 10. If you haven't heard this record yet, WTF are you doing!!????!!!

Imo the title and cover of the album let you know it's a record to sing, play along and have fun. The rock opera is Valkyrja, the Týr going ultra complex is Hel. This one has orchestration, so there's that hahahah I just love Týr hahahah

This has nothing to do with Alcest, but Black Horizons - A Dream's Funeral is probably one of the best albums I have ever heard in my life.

Seems I'm in the minority who isn't into Invincible Shield. I just can't get into the songs. I just don't think they're as good as Firepower.
